The chef cooks a wide range of Asian and western dishes, all beautifully presented. He can also accommodate special requests, such as vegetarian dishes, private dinners, barbecues and dietary needs. Suggestion menus are provided, including a kid’s menu, but if alternative options are desired – and for a more personal touch – chef and the kitchen staff are flexible and happy to discuss. Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price plus 20%. Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference.
To give the cooks sufficient advance warning, it helps to select meal options 24 hours in advance (however staff are always willing to accommodate requirements when able). While the kitchen staff are excellent, they do not have the capacity of a hotel or restaurant kitchen; thus it is very much ‘family style’ dining. As the kitchen is informal and open, you are also welcome to use it as your own and self-cater. Should you need to stock up on gourmet imported and local goods, there are several international-class bakeries and delicatessens nearby.
